Shenzhen Science and Technology Museum Overview

The Shenzhen Science and Technology Museum was named one of the “Most Beautiful Museums in the World” by UNESCO in 2026 (Prix Versailles, France) and is one of Shenzhen’s top ten cultural facilities of the new era. Covering a total area of 128,300 square meters, the museum was designed by the renowned Zaha Hadid Architects. Its exterior features a stunning gradient from “Nebula Blue” to “Phantom Gray,” and inside, a 38-meter-high atrium rises dramatically, with the building arranged in a U-shaped layout. Constructed to China’s three-star green building standards, it uses eco-friendly materials, energy-saving systems, and a rainwater recycling setup.

The museum focuses on the theme of “Digital Civilization, Innovative Future,” highlighting frontier fields such as artificial intelligence, life sciences, and aerospace. Most exhibits are interactive, allowing visitors to engage with cutting-edge technology. Guests can experience life as an astronaut, explore a futuristic car factory, and even enter a robot arena.
