Shanghai Disneyland Ticket Types

Shanghai Disneyland tickets are date-based, so prices may vary by visit date, season, weekends, holidays and ticket type. The most common ticket types include:

  • Standard 1-Day Ticket: This is the regular adult 1-day ticket for Shanghai Disneyland. It allows one guest to enter the park on the selected visit date. The price calendar above mainly compares this ticket type across the official website, Trip.com, Klook and KKday.
  • Child Ticket: Child tickets are for guests aged 3 to 11 years old, both inclusive, on the day of the park visit. If you are visiting with children, check the child ticket price separately before booking.
  • Senior Ticket: Senior tickets are for guests aged 60 years old and above on the day of the park visit. Make sure the visitor's age and passport or ID information match the document used for booking and entry.
  • Early Bird and Super Early Bird Ticket: Early bird and super early bird tickets are discounted dated tickets for visitors who book in advance. Official early bird prices are usually available when the visit date is at least 10 days away and can be up to CNY 50 cheaper than the standard 1-day ticket. Official super early bird prices are usually available when the visit date is at least 15 days away and can be up to CNY 70 cheaper than the standard 1-day ticket. Availability, discount amount and booking rules may vary by date and booking channel.
  • 2-Day Ticket: A 2-day ticket allows admission for two consecutive days. It is usually designed for visitors who want more time in the park and may offer approximately 10% off compared with buying two separate 1-day tickets.
  • Parent-Child Bundle Ticket: Shanghai Disneyland may offer parent-child bundle tickets, such as two standard 1-day dated tickets plus one child 1-day dated ticket, or one standard 1-day dated ticket plus one child 1-day dated ticket. However, a bundle is not always cheaper than buying separate adult and child tickets. Before booking, compare the bundle price with the total price of separate standard and child tickets for the same visit date.

Where to Buy Shanghai Disneyland Tickets

You can buy Shanghai Disneyland tickets from the official Shanghai Disney Resort website or from major travel platforms such as Trip.com, Klook and KKday.

  • Price: The official website is usually not the cheapest option compared with Trip.com, Klook and KKday. However, official bookings may sometimes include dining coupons, special offers or packages that are not available in the same way on other platforms.
  • Cancellation and refund rules: The refund rules for official bookings and platform bookings are now generally similar. In many cases, tickets can be cancelled for free at least 7 days before the visit date. From 6 days before the visit date to 1 day before the visit date, a refund fee of CNY 80 per ticket may apply. Tickets are usually non-refundable on the visit date. Always check the final cancellation policy on the booking page before payment.
  • Special refund cases: If you booked through the official website and need to request a refund because of illness or another special situation, you may be able to contact Shanghai Disney Resort directly and provide supporting documents. Platform bookings may also allow special-case refund requests, but the success rate can be less predictable.
  • Park entry: For regular dated tickets, the entry process is usually similar across all channels. Visitors can generally enter Shanghai Disneyland directly with the same passport or valid ID document used during booking.

Shanghai Disneyland Early Bird Tickets

Shanghai Disneyland early bird and super early bird tickets are discounted dated tickets for visitors who book in advance. They are usually available for selected visit dates and can help you save money compared with the standard adult 1-day ticket.

  • Advance booking rule: The official Shanghai Disneyland early bird 1-day ticket is usually available when the visit date is at least 10 days away. Super early bird tickets are usually available when the visit date is at least 15 days away.
  • Discount: Official early bird tickets can be up to CNY 50 cheaper than standard 1-day tickets. Official super early bird tickets can be up to CNY 70 cheaper, depending on the visit date and ticket availability.
  • Price display: If an early bird or super early bird price is available, the price shown in the calendar above already includes the discount. You do not need to subtract an extra discount from the displayed price.

Entry Requirements and ID Rules

Shanghai Disneyland uses real-name ticketing. Each visitor should use their own valid ID document when booking, and the ticket information should match the visitor who will enter the park.

For international visitors, this usually means using a passport when purchasing the ticket. The same passport used for booking should be brought to the park on the visit date. In most cases, visitors can enter Shanghai Disneyland directly by scanning or presenting the valid passport linked to the ticket.

Before payment, carefully check each visitor's name, passport number, ticket type and visit date. This is especially important when booking child tickets, senior tickets or parent-child bundle tickets. If the wrong ID information is used, the visitor may have trouble entering the park or changing the booking.

If you book through Trip.com, Klook, KKday or another platform, follow the platform's instructions for entering visitor information. Even if the ticket is purchased through a third-party platform, the ID or passport information must still match the visitor who will enter the park.
