Gexian Village Overview

Gexian Village is a nationally recognized AAAA-level tourist destination in China. Nestled at the foot of the Daoist landmark Gexian Mountain, the village draws on the legendary cultivation of Ge Xuan (164–244 AD), the founder of the Daoist Lingbao School, also revered as the “Tai Chi Immortal” and “Master Ge.” Integrating Daoist cultural elements with traditional Chinese aesthetic principles, Gexian Village recreates a small Han Dynasty-era mountain village using classical garden techniques, offering visitors a picturesque and ethereal “immortal” experience.
